FRABE nasce nel 1967 dalla genialità di FRANCESCO BENETTI, il quale, dopo aver concluso gli studi di disegnatore tecnico e lavorato alla SAM (scaffalature) di Arezzo, decide di mettersi in proprio a produrre scaffali, scegliendo però la lamiera plastificata come materia prima principale. Infatti, dopo i primi ardimentosi anni, FRABE SCAFFALATURE METALLICHE diventa FRABE ARREDAMENTI PER NEGOZI . Nei primi anni settanta vende già in tutta Italia con una rete di rivenditori / agenti, divisi per regione, dopo aver presentato i propri prodotti nelle principali fiere di settore: il vero successo arrivò dopo l’EXPO di MILANO nel 1974.
Con il passare degli anni, dopo aver venduto ampiamente anche all’estero (principalmente in LIBIA e CUBA), l’azienda si specializza ulteriormente nella produzione, riuscendo a superare con successo la crisi (che ha fatto fallire parecchie ditte concorrenti) di alcuni settori merceologici e quindi evolvendosi con nuovi prodotti per poter fornire le categorie di negozi di maggiore diffusione, pur continuando a seguire i vecchi clienti con ricambistica e aggiornamenti sempre disponibili per chi acquista un prodotto FRABE.
Negli anni 2000 l’azienda ha puntato maggiormente nella vendita diretta in Veneto, seguendo la tendenza e le richieste di mercato (comprare in fabbrica), mantenendo solo pochi selezionati rivenditori per il centro / sud Italia e continuando a vendere all’estero in Europa. Tutto questo grazie al fatto che “il negozio FRABE si monta praticamente da solo”. Nel 2015 in occasione di EXPO’ 2015 ha esposto in Fiera Milano – TUTTOFOOD , continuando a suscitare interesse nei propri prodotti .

WHO WE ARE

FRABE was born in 1967 from the brightness of Francesco Benetti, who decided to start his own business after finishing his education as a technical designer and after having worked in the very same field at the Sam Company of Arezzo ( furnishings). Interestingly, he started producing shelves choosing plastified steel sheet as foremost raw material. In fact, after the first adventurous years, METAL FURNISHINGS FRABE changes its name in SHOP FURNISHINGS FRABE. In the early ‘70s FRABE was already selling all over Italy through a network of dealers/salesmen, scattered in every place. After having introduced and presented this product in the main shows of this field, the real success was obtained at the Milan EXPO SHOW, 1974.
With the passing of the years, after selling widely also in foreign countries ( mainly in LIBIA and in CUBA), the factory gets specialized further on in the production, being able to overcome successfully the very same crisis that caused bankruptcy to many competitor companies. Then Frabe grew with new items in order to be able to supply the shops of major spread. At the same time FRABE was able to attend to the needs of the usual customers, in some cases providing spare parts for them, in other cases supplying them with updates ( as it is our custom with those who buy our items). From the year 2000 onwards, the company has been focussing even more on the direct sale in the north side of Italy, following the trend and the market request (= buying inside the factory, therefore allowing you to buy at a very convenient price), maintaining only a few selected dealers for the centre and south of Italy and continuing to sell abroad in Europe.

All of this has been accomplished only because “Frabe shops get assembled basically by themselves”. In 2015 on the occasion of EXPO ‘ 2015 he has exhibited with its own stand at Fiera Milano – TUTTOFOOD , continuing to generate interest in their products. FRABE has been existing for 50 years: this has to be considered our best business card! There must be a motive behind!
